Senior Vice President – Marketing
Sung Kang is a Canadian marketing veteran with two decades of experience in a diverse range of fields including retail, non-profit, consumer packaged goods, OTC pharma, beverage alcohol and, most recently, cannabis. Sung’s business acumen comes from building brands and launching disruptive innovations at some of the largest marketing-led organizations in the world including General Mills, Novartis (OTC), AB Inbev (Labatt) and most recently Vivo Cannabis Inc. where he was the Chief Marketing Officer. While at Vivo, Sung created the Fireside, Lumina, and Beacon Medical brands for the opening of the legal cannabis market in Canada. Sung holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and a BA in Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University.
